Satterlee overcomes Lathroum at Natural Bridge

NATURAL BRIDGE, Va. (June 23) — Continuing a streak of solid finishes, Gregg Satterlee of Rochester Mills, Pa., won Saturday at Natural Bridge Speedway for his first career victory on the Three State Flyers circuit.

The 25-year-old Satterlee, who has finished outside the top five just once in June, earned $3,500 after taking the lead from polesitter Jamie Lathroum of Mechanicsville, Md., on the 21st of 35 laps at the 3/8-mile oval. | Video

Lathroum settled for second with fifth-starting Walker Arthur of Forest, Va., in third. Fast qualifier Ronnie DeHaven Jr. of Winchester, Va., was fourth and two-time series champion Jason Covert of York Haven, Pa., rounded out the top five finishers.
