Turning back Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark., and Shane Hebert of Lafayette, La., in a final-lap battle, Fisher earned $2,500 in becoming the tour’s third first-time winner this season. Ray Moore of Shreveport, La., and Tommy Surrett of Little Rock, Ark., rounded out the top five.

The breakthrough triumph adds to Fisher’s solid season, which also included claiming his first victory on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series on May 25.

Sunday’s race wrapped up the SUPR tour’s three-race Labor Day weekend. Patrick Daniel of Wills Points, Texas, won Friday’s opener at Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La., and Rob Litton of Alexandria, La., won Saturday’s race at Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas.
