PARK CITY, Kan. (Sept. 1) — Kelly Boen of Henderson, Colo., completed his bookend sweep of Labor Day weekend victories at 81 Speedway, earning $2,500 for a Monday win at the Wichita-area track to follow his victory at Friday. The polesitting Boen hounded Bryant Goldsmith of Corning, Iowa, through the race's early stages before taking command for good on lap 14.

Boen's 10-length lead was erased by a lap-22 caution, but wouldn't be denied over the final eight laps. Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., took the second spot from 10th-starting Al Purkey of Coffeyville, Kan., over the final stretch while Goldsmith and hometown driver Delbert Smith rounded out the top five.
