EAST SMETHPORT, Pa. (Aug. 23) — Former series champion David Scott led all 40 laps Friday at McKean County Raceway for his first NDRL's ULMS Racing Series victory in more than three years. | Slideshow

Starting on the pole, Scott earned a season-high $5,000 for keeping series points leader Mike Knight of Ripley, N.Y., and Rob Blair of Titusville, Pa., at bay on the Stars of MCR night at the third-mile clay oval. He took the checkers about a half-dozen car lengths ahead of Knight.

Blair, who started fourth and ran in the second spot on laps 28-32, was third followed by Dutch Davies of Warren, Pa., and 10th-starting Tim Fuller of Watertown, N.Y., in the caution-free feature.

Scott stayed in control all the way and evaded potential trouble on the 32nd lap when Keith Barbara ducked to the infield after contact with Coleby Frye just in front of the leaders.
