BYRAM, Miss. (May 19) — Bub McCool of Vicksburg, Miss., turned another off weekend for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series into another Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway.

McCool, who currently leads the WoO rookie chase with one series victory on the season, scored his third consecutive victory on the MSCCS tour Saturday night at Jackson for a $2,500 payday.

Scott Dedwylder of Vossburg, Miss., followed McCool to the finish in the runner-up position while Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss., climbed from the 12th starting spot to finish third.

Clint Smith of Senoia, Ga., another regular on the World of Outlaws tour, advanced from the ninth starting position to finish fourth while Jason Cliburn of Star, Miss., finished fifth from the 14th starting position.

Motorsports Park and Whynot.
