Sitton rules Lone Star, claims fourth SUPR victory

KILGORE, Texas (Sept. 8) — Kevin Sitton of Baytown, Texas, continued his solid season on the Southern United Professional Racing tour, claiming his fourth victory of the season Saturday night in the tour’s stop at Lone Star Speedway.
Tyler Erb of Magnolia, Texas, scored the runner-up finish with Rob Litton of two-time series champion Rob Litton of Alexandria, La., third. Robbie Starnes of Houston, Texas, and Patrik Daniel of Willis Point, Texas, rounded out the top five. | Slideshow

Sutton’s other two series victories were June 1 at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas, and I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark., July 21. … The SUPR tour takes an extended break before returning to action Oct. 20 with a trip to Boothill Speedway in Shreveport, La.
