What won the race: Front-row starter Ivedent Lloyd Jr. of Ocala, Fla., piloted David Clegg's No. 07 to his second straight United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory in the Mike Peters Open, collecting $3,000 for his efforts.
Key notes: Lloyd also drove Clegg's machine to victory in UDLMCS action on May 30 at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla. ... Lloyd's 19 series victories are second to only runner-up Mark Whitener's 24 wins. ... The fifth annual Mike Peters Open paid tribute to the former track owner. ... The race opened a rare two-race weekend for UDLMCS competitors, who head to Volusia Speedway Park on Saturday for the $5,000-to-win Powell Memorial. ...
