Jackie Boggs gets rolling Friday at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex.
What won the race: Jackie Boggs of Grayson, Ky., edged polesitter Duane Chamberlain of Richmond, Ind., for a $3,000 Buckeye Dirt Late Model Dirt Week victory at Brushcreek Motorsports Park.
Key notes: Boggs won $3,000 for the second straight weekend; he captured 201 Speedway's Walter "Peg" Combs Memorial on June 13. ... Duane Chamberlain lowered the track record in time trials; he later finished runner-up in the feature. ... Chamberlain was the winner of the Buckeye tour event at NAPA Wayne County Speedway on June 13. ...Friday's Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week event was the only scheduled Late Model show of the season at Brushcreek. ... Boggs also won Friday's modified feature as he successfully pulled double-duty. ... After rain spoiled much of the Ohio week-long tour, officials reset four events for July 8-11 at Skyline Speedway, Legendary Hilltop Speedway, Moler Raceway Park and Atomic Speedway.
