What won the race: Russell Erwin of Beaverdam, Va., quickly shot to the lead from the third starting spot and never looked back en route to a victory worth $8,900 in the I-95 Late Model Challenge Monk Clary Memorial at Clary's Speedway.
Key notes: Erwin scored his third win of the season on the I-95 Late Model Challenge series. His previous victories came on May 23 at Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway and May 29 at Clary's. ... Erwin also has an unsanctioned triumph at Dublin (N.C.) Motor Speedway under his belt. ... Rain pushed back the start of the racing program to nearly 9 p.m. ... The Monk Clary Memorial pays tribute to the late track owner, part of the I-95 Late Model Challenge with events at Clary's, County Line and Fayetteville. ...
