Mike Marlar heads for his $4,000 victory at Boyd's Speedway.
What won the race: Leading all 40 laps of the feature, polesitter Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., raced to a $4,000 payday and his fourth career Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals victory at Boyd's Speedway.
Key notes: Marlar previously notched a Spring Nationals victory on April 15 at Volunteer Speedway; he became the fourth different series winner at Boyd's in as many years. ... Suffering apparent issues under the hood, Chris Madden pulled into the infield while running second after eight laps. ... Jason Croft stalled on the eighth lap to draw the race's lone yellow flag. ... The winner's brother, Skylar Marlar, started outside of the front row, but faded to ninth. ... Along with a fourth-place run in Super Late Model action, Riley Hickman won the Crate Late Model feature. ... Boyd's welcomed Spring Nationals competitors for the first of three weekend events which conclude the tour's season. ... Drivers move to Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Ga., on Saturday, and wrap up the weekend Sunday at Rome (Ga.) Speedway.
