Corey Gordon picked up the $2,900 victory at Princeton Speedway.
What won the race: Second-starting Corey Gordon of Charlotte, N.C., stole a $2,500 Fastrak Racing Series victory on the final lap, overtaking race-long pacesetter Rick Williams on the 40th circuit to triumph in the UBB 29 Miners Memorial at Princeton Speedway.
Key notes: Gordon won his first Fastrak event of the season. ... He last won with the tour during the opening event of 2015's Fastrak World Championship at Virginia Motor Speedway. ... Williams led the first 39 laps from the pole. ... All 25 entrants received feature starting spots. ... The program was halted with a brief rain delay. ... The sixth annual event made up a July 29 rainout. ... Williams earned $290 for winning the Fast Six Dash for Cash and another $290 as the event's fast qualifier. ... The race honored the 29 coal miners lost in the 2010 Upper Big Branch Mine disaster.
On the move: Chris Steele started 15th and finished fourth.
Winner's sponsors: Gordon's Barry Wright Race Car carries sponsorship from Carver & Sons Roofing Inc., Creech's D.J. Service and Wurth.
Points chase: Entering the weekend, Ryan Montgomery led Fastrak Mid-Ohio Valley touring standings with 125 points over David Smith (120) and Colby Cannon (108).
