Mark Whitener takes the checkers for his Limited Late Model victory.
What won the race: Third-starting Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., overtook polesitter Jimmy Sharpe Jr of Soperton, Ga., on lap 19 of the 40-lap feature to score a $4,000 Bama Bash victory at East Alabama Motor Speedway. Whitener took the checkers ahead of Joseph Brown by .485 seconds.
