What won the race: Winning his fourth consecutive Carolina Clash event, series points leader Dennis 'Rambo' Franklin of Gaffney, S.C., took the lead on the sixth lap and led the rest of the caution-plagued, 50-lap feature for a $5,000 payday.
Key notes: Fast qualifier and polesitter Zack Mitchell of Enoree, S.C., led the first five circuits. ... The fifth-starting Franklin faced no serious challenges after taking the point. ... Scott Shirey drew an early caution and retired; eight drivers piled up on the ensuing restart for another yellow flag. ... Doug Sanders stopped in the second turn on the 24th lap. ... Jonathan Edwards suffered a flat tire on lap 27. ... Willie Milliken had trouble on the 33rd circuit. ... Kevin Wilson spun with nine laps remaining. ...
