David Smith snaps unique winner streak at Tri-County

BRASSTOWN, N.C. (Aug. 2) — David Smith of Inman, S.C., started on the pole and raced to victory at Tri-County Racetrack to become the first two-time winner in Fastrak Southeast touring action in 2008. Smith earned $2,000 for the 40-lap victory while fast qualifier John Llewellyn of Knoxville, Tenn., who started fourth, settled for second. Jacob Grizzle, Jacob Anderson and Brian Grumbles rounded out the top five. The series entered the event with 11 different winners in 11 races.
