Trammell nabs Fastrak victory at Tazewell

TAZEWELL, Tenn. (Aug. 16) — Home-track driver Jason Trammell of Lake City, Tenn., started on the pole and led all 40 laps at Tazewell Speedway for a Fastrak Southeast victory. Anthony Arwine started and finished second while fast qualifier John Llewellyn, Vic Chandler and 14th-starting John Harrell rounded out the top five. Among the race stoppages was a lap-seven red flag after the cars of Brandon Umberger, Chris Chandler and Colt Smith tangled. All three cars were damaged too much to continue, but no one was injured. The next series event is the $10,000 Pro Late Model Nationals on Aug. 29-31 at Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Va.
