Haley dominates Modoc for $2,000 victory
MODOC, S.C. (Aug. 14) — Brandon "Cornbread" Haley of Lavonia, Ga., led every lap at Modoc Speedway for a $2,000 touring victory on the Fastrak Southeast circuit.
Royce Bray of Hull, Ga., tried to overtake Haley late in the race, but his move backfired and he slipped to a fourth-place finish behind Ross Bailes of Clover, S.C., and Bob Robertson of Evans, Ga. Lee Cooper of Greer, S.C., rounded out the top five and moved into the series points lead.
