Hines outruns Blackwood for Brownstown victory
BROWNSTOWN, Ind. (May 8) — Jeremy Hines of Seymour, Ind., overtook Zak Blackwood of Columbus, Ind., with a three-wide pass in lapped traffic and grabbed an Indiana Late Model Series victory at Brownstown Speedway.
Hines earned $600 in becoming the third winner in three series races. Blackwood's second-place finish pushed him into the series points lead over Steve Godsey of Bedford, Ind. Mark Barber of North Vernon, Ind, was third followed by Kevin Hardin of Williams, Ind., and Godsey.
