Pegher picks up Central Pennsylvania victory

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (June 20) — Seventh-starting Mike Pegher Jr. of Wexford, Pa., overtook outside front-row starter Robbie Blair of Titusville, Pa., on the eighth lap and raced to a 25-lap Fastrak Northeast victory at Central Pennsylvania Speedway. Pegher earned $1,200 in the Crate Late Model special.
Pegher’s only real scare the rest of the 25-lapper came amid heavy lapped traffic with two laps remaining, but he kept Blair behind him for the victory. Josh Holtgraver, Bud Watson and Gary Knollinger rounded out the top five.
