Robbie Blair gets $5,000 for victory at McKean
EAST SMETHPORT, Pa. (June 19) — Robbie Blair of Titusville, Pa., made his first Fastrak Northeast touring start a good one, taking the lead on the 15th lap at McKean County Speedway and racing to a 40-lap victory worth $5,000. The Super Late Model veteran swept the Crate Late Model special by setting fast time, winning his heat and the main event.
Dan Angelicchio, who took the lead from John Lacki on an early restart and held the point until Blair’s winning pass, earned $2,500 for second while Steve Dixon finished third. Series points leader Max Blair, the winner’s son, was fourth and Kyle Zimmerman rallied from the tail to round out the top five.
