NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model SeriesDUBLIN, Ga. (July 3) — Ben Faircloth of Swainsboro, Ga., cleaned house Saturday at 441 Speedway by winning his second straight NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series event. For the second straight night, Faircloth got out his broom and swept the program with fast time honors and then led flag-to-flag in the feature.
He led all 40 laps on Friday night and tacked on another 50 laps led on Saturday.
“I just love this racetrack and I love this race car,” Faircloth said. “They just seem to go together.”
Matthew Turner of Dawsonville, Ga., chased Faircloth for the entire feature race, but couldn’t seem to get close enough to challenge for the win, as Faircloth maintained at least an eight-length advantage.
Series rookie Charlie Henderson of Cottondale, Ala., finished third, a full straightaway behind Turner while Eric Cooley of Fulton, Miss., and Brad Comer of Gray, Ga., rounded out the top five.
