MINERAL WELLS, W.Va. (Sept. 2) — Mike Pegher Jr. of Wexford, Pa., overtook outside front-row starter Gary Knollinger on the eighth lap and led the rest of the way Thursday at West Virginia Motor Speedway. Pegher earned $1,200 for the Fastrak Mid-Ohio Valley touring victory in a race rained out May 16.

Josh Holtgraver slipped past Knollinger on a lap-18 restart whiel Kyle Thomas and Joel Prosser rounded out the top five. Six of the original 18 scheduled starters didn't return for the event which kicked off Hillbilly 100 weekend at WVMS.
