Aaron Heck captures PCRA finale at Tri-City
PONTOON BEACH, Ill. (Oct. 12) — Aaron Heck of Mount Vernon, Ill., won the Pro Crate Racers of America finale Friday at Tri-City Speedway while Bobby Dauderman of Alhambra, Ill., wrapped up the series championship with a fourth-place run.
Heck earned $1,000 for the victory while Bobby Regot of St. Charles, Mo., and Scott Weber of Festus, Mo., finished second and third. Dauderman, whose four race series win streak came to an end, was fourth with Jim Shereck of St. Charles rounded out the top five.
Tri-City continues a big weekend of Crate Late Model action with a $2,500-to-win event on Saturday sanctioned by UMP DIRTcar.
