Weber nabs $2,500 victory at Tri-City
PONTOON BEACH, Ill. (Oct. 13) — Sixth-starting Scott Weber of Festus, Mo., earned $2,500 on Saturday at Tri-City Speedway in winning the Bud Light 40 for UMP DIRTcar-sanctioned Crate Late Models.
Weber took the checkers ahead of 11th-starting Randy Korte of Highland, Ill., while outside front-row starter Steve Lance Jr. of Cuba, Ill., was third. Mark Voigt of Marine, Ill., advanced eight positions to finish fourtha nd Mark Oller of Highland, Ill., rounded out the top five. | Slideshow
Aaron Heck, who started on the pole of the 24-car feature, was sixth. Kolby Vandenbergh of Ashland, Ill., won hard charger honors with his 20th-to-seventh run.
