Winebarger grabs third straight victory
BANKS, Ore. (June 15) — Collen Winebarger of Corbett, Ore., overtook hometown driver Greg Walters on the 28th lap and notched his third straight Northwest Extreme Crate Late Model Series victory Saturday at Sunset Speedway Park.
Walters, who took the lead from outside front-row starter Brad Martin on the seventh lap, settled for second with Scott Winebarger, the winner’s father, in third. Jason Johnson and Martin rounded out the top five.
