Walters gets fourth straight NW Extreme win
ELMA, Wash. (Aug. 31) — Former series champion Greg Walters of Banks, Ore., extended his winning streak on the Northwest Extreme Crate Series to four races Saturday night at Grays Harbor Raceway, earning $1,000 for his seventh series victory of the season.
Five-time series winner this season Collen Winebarger of Corbett, Ore., followed Walters to the finish in the second spot while 12th-starting Jerry Schram of Vancouver, Wash., — the only driver other than Walters or Winebarger to win on the series this season — was third. Joe Gergman of Wishkah, Wash., and Jacob Myers of Salem, Ore., rounded out the top five.
