Phillips collects $3,000 in Southern Challenge

MILTON, Fla. (May 31) — Jason Phillips drove his No. 327 to a $3,000 victory in the Crate Late Model Southern Challenge feature at Southern Raceway. Calvin Cook, James Ussery, Joseph Joiner and Chris O'Connor rounded out the top five in the unsanctioned event on the Florida Panhandle. The next miniseries event is July 11-12 when the Derek Henley Memorial will pay $3,000 to the winner.
