Ingram grabs Top Tracks victory at Rome

ROME, Ga. (July 6) — Inheriting the lead after a tangle up front, third-starting Frank Ingram of Acworth, Ga., earned $1,500 for his Carl Black Automotive Top Track Challenge Series victory at Rome Speedway. Ingram, who took the lead when Alan Brewer was involved in a crash before the halfway point, won the 30-lapper over polesitter Chris Cape, Michael Jones and 23rd-starting Todd Morrow, the series points leader.
Notes: The event drew 44 cars. ... Bryan Jackson was taken to a nearby hospital for observation after a barrel-rolling accident on the 28th lap; he climbed from his car under his own power but complain of ankle pain. ... Luther Jenkins won the night's Super Late Model feature at Rome. ... The next Top Tracks Challenge event is July 26 at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Ga.
