Lacki overtakes Snyder for Raceway 7 victory

John Lacki (7) races to victory in Conneaut, Ohio (Todd Battin)
CONNEAUT, Ohio (July 4) — Taking advantage when a lap-22 caution erased Tom Snyder Jr.'s half-straightaway lead, sixth-starting John Lacki of Sinclairsville, N.Y., grabbed the lead on the restart at Raceway 7 for his first Fastrak Northeast victory of the season. Lacki earned $1,200 for outrunning Snyder and 19th-starting Bump Hedman while Dick Barton finished fourth after running as high as third. Dave Osterberg, who led the first eight laps, faded to finish 11th.
