Phillips function? Winning King of Hill at Junction

McCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (Aug. 2) — Terry Phillips of Springfield, Ill., denied John Anderson of Omaha, Neb., a King of the Hill sweep by capturing the weekend finale at Junction Motor Speedway. Phillips won the race sanctioned by three O'Reilly Auto Parts-sponsored tours: MLRA, NCRA and TORA. Anderson, who led all but four laps of the Friday opener, settled for second ahead of Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb. Jeremy Payne, a teammate to Phillips, and Kelly Boen of Henderson, Colo., rounded out the top five on a weekend when more than 50 Late Model drivers entered the action. | Slideshow
