Erb rebounds at Macon with NALMS victory

MACON, Ill. (Aug. 19) — Denied a Northern Allstars victory three nights earlier at Macon Speedway, Dennis Erb Jr. of Carpentersville, Ill., returned to capture a Tuesday night special on the series in a makeup of an event rained out Memorial Day weekend. Erb started outside the front row and overtook polesitter and Macon points leader Kyle Logue of Oreana, Ill., on the ninth lap and led the rest of the way for a victory worth $2,000.
Logue held on to finish second ahead of Steve Sheppard Jr. of New Berlin, Ill., Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., and Saturday's $7,000 winner Kevin Weaver of Gibson City, Ill.
