Fegers wins Seitz Memorial, pockets $9,200

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Sept. 6) — Justin Fegers of Mound, Minn., pocketed one of WISSOTA's richest paydays of the year with a $9,200 triumph in the second annual John Seitz Memorial at River Cities Speedway. Fegers notched just his second victory of the season and first since May in outrunning Jeff Provinzino of Hibbing, Minn. Don Shaw of Ham Lake, Minn., finished third while dash winner Joel Cryderman of Thunder Bay, Ontario, was fourth. Last year's winner, Mitch Johnson of Hickson, N.D., was 25th. The event, originally scheduled for Sept. 4-5, was twice delayed by rain and eventually condensed into a single-day event. | Slideshow
