Berck grabs victory in Cornhusker Classic

GREENWOOD, Neb. (Sept. 20) — Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., topped a 53-car turnout at I-80 Speedway for a victory in the Cornhusker Classic. Berck outran fellow Nebraska drivers John Anderson of Omaha and Leon Zeitner of La Vista for the victory in an ICM Ethanol-sponsored event sanctioned by three O'Reilly Auto Parts tours: the Midwest LateModel Racing Association, National Championship Racing Association and Topless Outlaws Racing Association. Al Purkey of Coffeyville, Kan., was the first non-Nebraska driver in fourth while Denny Woodworth of Mendon, Ill., rounded out the top five.
