Cryderman dominates Cedar Lake finale
From track reports
NEW RICHMOND, Wis. (Sept. 27) — Canadian standout Joel Cryderman of Thunder Bay, Ontario, nabbed one of the richest victories of his career by leading all 50 laps of the Badger State Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway. Cryderman, who started outside the front row, earned $8,000 for a victory in the season-ending event.
A rallying Don Shaw of Ham Lake, Minn., took second from Jake Redetzke of Eau Claire, Wis., on a lap-42 restart, but he couldn't challenged the leader in settling for second. Redetzke finished third followed by hometown driver Pat Doar and Eau Claire's Chad Mahder, who started ninth and ran as high as third. Polesitter Lance Matthees of Winona, Minn., faded to an eighth-place finish.
