Seng tops Weiss for second straight NLRA victory
WEST FARGO, N.D. (June 20) — Brad Seng of Grand Forks, N.D., powered past young Canadian Ricky Weiss in the final laps at Red River Valley Speedway for his second straight Northern LateModel Racing Association victory.
Seng, who won the previous night's NLRA event at his hometown River Cities Speedway, captured his 13th career series victory, third on the all-time series list.
Weiss and Cody Skytland of Edmore, N.D., started on the front row with Weiss leading Skytland in the early laps. Seng worked the high groove to track down the frontrunners, setting up his winning move late in the race.
Weiss ended up second followed by Matt Aukland of Fargo, N.D., in third. Skytland and Greg Meyer of Wahpeton, N.D., rounded out the top five.
