Doppler captures NLRA stop at Jamestown
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (June 27) — Winning his first series race in nine years, Blaine Doppler of Bismarck, N.D., won from outside the front row at Jamestown Speedway for a Northern LateModel Racing Association victory. Doppler denied second-running Cody Skytland of Fargo, N.D., his second consecutive NLRA victory. | Slideshow
Mike Johnson of Harwood, N.D., was third in the race postponed by rain on June 6. Paul Mueller of Bismarck and Ricky Weiss of St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba, rounded out the top five.
Doppler's second career NLRA victory was his first since May 29, 2000, at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, N.D.
