McDonald captures WISSOTA Winternationals
ABERDEEN, S.D. (Oct. 4) — David McDonald of Huron, S.D., grabbed a $4,000 WISSOTA victory in the season-ending Winternationals at Brown County Speedway. McDonald started outside the front row and took the checkered flag ahead of track champion Chad Becker of Aberdeen.
Hometown driver Kent Arment was third with Don Shaw of Ham Lake, Minn., and Chuck Swenson of Watertown, S.D., rounding out the top five. Polesitter Dan Henrikson of Rapid City, S.D., faded to a 19th-place finish.
