Wiarda grabs SLMRS victory at Boone County

ALBION, Neb. (May 14) — Former series champion Mike Wiarda of Aurora, Neb., won his first-ever Super Late Model Racing Series feature Friday at Boone County Raceway. Wiarda, the 2008 series champ, earned $1,000 for the victory on the Nebraska-based tour. | Slideshow
Jason O'Brien of Atlantic, Iowa, was second followed by Corey Zeitner of Bellevue, Neb. Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., and season-opening winner Leon Zeitner of La Vista, Neb., rounded out the top five in the third series event of 2010.
