Feger picks up NALMS victory at Macon
MACON, Ill. (July 22) — Fresh off his UMP DIRTcar Summernationals championship, Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., grabbed a Thursday night Northern Allstars Late Model Series victory at Macon Speedway.
Winning at a fifth-mile track where he ran second during the Summernationals, Feger overtook polesitter and fellow front-row starter Kyle Logue of Cisco, Ill., on the fourth lap and led the rest of the 30-lap main event for a $2,000 payday and his fifth career NALMS victory.
Logue settled for second with Roger Brickler of Springfield, Ill., in third. Richie Hedrick of Urbana, Ill., was fourth and Brian Shirley rallied from his last-row starting spot to round out the top five.
