Collins grabs SLMRS victory at McCool Junction
MCCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (May 12) — Mike Collins of Council Bluffs, Iowa, won Saturday’s Super Late Model Racing Series event at Junction Motor Speedway, earning $1,000 for his third-career victory on the Nebraska-based regional tour.
Mike Marushak of David City, Neb., scored the runner-up finish ahead of Mike Wiarda of Aurora, Neb. LaVista, Neb., drivers Leon and Justin Zeitner rounded out the race’s top-five finishers.
