McCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (June 23) — Third-starting Bill Leighton Jr. of Omaha, Neb., raced to victory Saturday at Junction Motor Speedway, his first of the season on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Racing Series.

Leighton took the checkers ahead of Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., while the winningest SLMRS driver Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., was third. Reigning series champ Travis Dickes was fourth and Justin Zeitner of LaVista, Neb., rounded out the top five finishers in the 22-car field.
