Dickes tops Berck in Charlie Clark Memorial
GREENWOOD, Neb. (May 26) — Travis Dickes of Madison, Neb., fought off repeated challenges from Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., on Sunday to capture I-80 Speedway’s Charlie Clark Memorial. | Slideshow
Dickes earned $2,022 for his first victory of the season on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Racing Series while Berck pocketed $2,222 according to the tour’s unusual payoff.
Craig Preble of Yutan, Neb., finished third in the 35-lap feature while Al Humphrey of Giltner, Neb., was fourth. Brian Kenkel of Elkhorn, Neb., rounded out the top five finishers.
