Seventh-row starting Arment grabs NLRA victory
ADA, Minn. (Aug. 8) — Kent Arment of Aberdeen, S.D., rallied from his 13th starting spot Thursday at Norman County Raceway for a victory on the Northern LateModel Racing Association. Taking the lead on the 25th lap, Arment took the checkers ahead of polesitter Dustin Strand of Grand Fork, N.D., for his second career NLRA victory and first since 2004.
Sixth-starting Zach Johnson of Kensington, Minn., was third followed by Pat Doar of New Richmond, Wis., and sixth-row starter Jeff Provinzino of Hibbing, Minn.
Brad Seng, who won the previous two NLRA events, including a July 18 visit to Norman County, was sixth after starting outside the front row.
