Shaw wins Ogilvie as Johnson wraps up BBCS title
OGILVIE, Minn. (Aug. 24) — Don Shaw of Ham Lake, Wis., claimed the season finale on the WISSOTA-sanctioned Blaine Brothers Challenge Series Saturday night at Ogilvie Raceway, earning $2,000 for his second career series victory and his first since 2008. | Slideshow
Brady Smith of Solon Springs, Wis., was second at the finish, while Zach Johnson of Kensington, Minn., wrapped up his first series title with a third-place finish at the 3/8-mile oval. John Kaanta of Elk Mound, Wis., was fourth at the finish with Eric Breeschoten of Buffalo, Minn., rounding out the top five.
Former series champion Jake Redetzke of Eau Claire, Wis., who trailed Johnson by seven points entering the event, finished 11th.
