Miller nabs another ALMS victory at Oakshade
WAUSEON, Ohio (Aug. 31) — Another holiday weekend at Oakshade Raceway, another Sunoco American Late Model Series victory for Matt Miller of Waterville, Ohio.
Miller started outside the front row Saturday at Oakshade and raced to his second ALMS victory of the season worth $2,000. Miller’s first victory came Memorial Day weekend at Oakshade in his Rick Delong-owned No. 3. | Slideshow
Brian Ruhlman of Clarklake, Mich., started just behind Miller and finished second while track champion Dona Marcoullier of Houghton Lake, Mich., started and finished third. Polesitter Jeff Babcock of Wayne, Ohio, last month’s ALMS winner at Oakshade, slipped to a fourth-place finish while Jason Jaggers of Wyanet, Ill., rounded out the top five in his second trip to Oakshade.
Series points leader Brandon Thirlby of Traverse City, Mich., was seventh.
