Patrick gets third series victory at West Siloam

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. (June 7) — Inheriting the lead when Ken Essary retired with engine problems, polesitter Kevin Patrick of Gentry, Ark., won the Show-Me Racin' Series event at West Siloam Speedway, his third career series victory. Jim Fulp rallied to finish second followed by Leslie Essary, Shane Essary and Rick Lebow.
Notes: Kevin Patrick's winning car is a GRT Race Car. ... Burl Woods broke his transmission in a heat race. ... Jeremy Kelley finished second in the consolation race, but he scratched from the feature with engine problems. ... The next series event is June 14 at Nevada (Mo.) Speedway.
