Yoder grabs $3,000 victory at Hesston
HESSTON, Pa. (July 4) — Outside front-row starter Jim Yoder of Selinsgrove, Pa., earned $3,000 for a Three State Flyers victory on a steamy Sunday night at Hesston Speedway. Yoder led all 35 laps for his first victory on the 2-year-old tour.
Polesitter Devin Friese of Mercersburg, Pa., was second followed by hard-charging D.J. Myers of Greencastle, Pa. Brian Booze of Marion, Pa., and Jack Pencil of Bedford, Pa., rounded out the top five in a race slowed by two cautions. | Slideshow
Mike Mort spun in turn four on the 11th lap to draw the first yellow and Brad Kling slowed in turn four for a lap-31 caution.
