Knight claims second straight ULMS win
EAST SMETHPORT, Pa. (June 14) — Mike Knight of Ripley, N.Y., raced to his second straight victory on the NDRL's ULMS Racing Series, claiming the Dave Lundgren Memorial during the open leg of the tour’s weekend doubleheader at McKean County Speedway.
Knight, who also won Wednesday night’s ULMS event at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, earned $5,000 in claiming the ninth series victory of his career. | Video | Slideshow
Rob Blair of Titusville, Pa., briefly overtook Knight at the point, but the move was negated by a caution flag. Blair settled for second ahead of David Scott of Garland, Pa. Tim Fuller of Watertown, N.Y., and Dick Barton of Ashville, N.Y., rounded out the race’s top five finishers.
