Hawkins earns $6,000 at Southern 50
WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (July 12) — Pole-starting Jared Hawkins of Fairmont, W.Va., overtook Tim Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., on the ninth lap at Southern Ohio Speedway and raced to victory in the third annual Southern 50. He earned $6,000. | Slideshow
Josh McGuire of Grayson, Ky., finished second in the unsanctioned event with Dohm settling for the third and five-time Late Model track champion Delmas Conley of Wheelersburg rounded out the top five.
