Satterlee tops Fall Classic weekend opener
WINCHESTER, Va. (Oct. 25) — Gregg Satterlee of Rochester Mills, Pa., notched the opening night of the inaugural Gunter’s Honey Fall Classic at Winchester Speedway, pocketing $3,000 for his seventh overall victory of 2013. Satterlee and 28 other entrants will battle Saturday at the 3/8-mile oval for a $5,000-to-win purse in the finale of the two-race weekend.
Polesitter Jeremy Miller of Gettysburg, Pa., finished second with Jason Covert of York Haven, Pa., finishing third in the main event. Hometown driver J.T. Spence and Kenny Moreland of Waldorf, Md., rounded out the top five in the Super Late Model event.
