Texas rookie scores hometown victory with SUPR

BAYTOWN, Texas (July 26) — Third-starting Kevin Sitton grabbed a hometown victory at Houston Raceway Park for his second O'Reilly Southern United Professional Racing victory of the season. The leading SUPR rookie, who took the lead from Ronny Adams on the fifth lap and lapped all but nine cars, earned $2,500. Robbie Stuart of DeRidder, La., was second followed by Adams, of Greenwood, La., and Texan Robbie Starnes. SUPR points leader Kenny Merchant of West Monroe, La., was fifth.
